A report reveals that 35 out of 36 state governors in Nigeria have not accounted for the ₦9 billion palliative funds allocated by the federal government to mitigate economic hardship.

Only Plateau State has provided details of its expenditure. Connected Development (CODE) has issued an ultimatum to the remaining governors to disclose how the funds were utilized, emphasizing the importance of transparency and accountability in governance.
