India’s Chinmaya Foundation has doubled its efforts aimed to thwart the fast spread of the newly detected Covid-19 strain in India as well as alleviating the toll of the virus on communities.
Working through its Dolphin Dance School and Group project, the foundation yesterday spent time erecting relief food storages in JajPur District and other nearby places.
The Chinmaya Foundation also distributed face masks, hand sanitizers, ORS, hand gloves, clothes, dry and cooked food to the needy in JajPur District as a way of complementing government efforts aimed at saving people from the new and deadly Indian Covid19 strain.
The Relief Distribution and Covid-19 Awareness program which the foundation says will continue was yesterday spearheaded by its national Chairperson Chinmaya Dash, Director Master Mihir Kumar, Madhusmita Nayak, Social worker Shashikanta Nayak, Surendra Kumar Pandab and other honorary members of the foundation.
The Chinmaya Foundation has placed highly on community engagement during this pandemic and it has earned itself a reputation of being the best example of a humanitarian organization.
