DeeOne Threat Saga: Police Move Veryblackman to Lagos for Questioning
The alleged rift between reality star and comedian DeeOne and social media personality Veryblackman has taken a new turn, with the latter reportedly arrested by the Rivers State Police Command.

Veryblackman, described as a member of the Strong Ratel group and a relative of social media personality VeryDarkMan, was reportedly arrested on Saturday following an invitation from the police.
He was subsequently taken to Lagos on Sunday after allegedly failing to honour the police invitation, according to reports.
The arrest is linked to an alleged threat against DeeOne’s life which reportedly surfaced in June after the comedian criticised VeryDarkMan.

The controversy generated reactions across social media, with several personalities, including Mario Wazobia and Broda Mike, reportedly calling for police intervention.
DeeOne has now reacted to the latest development, praising the police for what he described as a swift response.
“Arrested and swift to Lagos! Next time you won’t threaten someone’s life. Kudos to the Nigerian Police for doing their job,” he wrote in an Instagram post.
The incident has once again drawn attention to the increasingly heated exchanges among Nigerian social media personalities, particularly when online disagreements escalate into alleged threats.
Details of the police investigation remain limited, and it was not immediately clear what formal charges, if any, had been filed against Veryblackman.
The police are expected to determine the next step in the matter as investigations continue.
