Edwin Clark, the leader of the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), has died at the age of 97.
Africaworldnews reports that the respected elder statesman passed away recently. A statement confirming his death was issued on Tuesday by Prof. C.C. Clark, a representative of the family.
The statement reads: “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, announces the death of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark, OFR, CON, on Monday, 17th February 2025. The family thanks you for your prayers and will provide further details shortly.”
This sad news follows the passing of Pa Ayo Adebanjo, the influential leader of the Afenifere group, just three days earlier at the age of 96.
