FOREIGN: Russia Adds Ukrainian President Zelensky to Criminal ‘Wanted’ List

Russia has escalated tensions by adding Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to its list of wanted criminals, a move dismissed by Kyiv as a sign of Moscow’s desperation.

Zelensky’s name surfaced on the Russian interior ministry’s “wanted” list, with no immediate explanation provided by Russian officials. Ukraine’s foreign ministry condemned the decision, attributing it to Russia’s desperation and propaganda.

This action comes amidst heightened conflict between the two nations since Russia’s military offensive in Ukraine began in 2022.
