Grace That Does Not Lie — Bbnaija’s Tacha Celebrates Record-Breaking Global Feat

Reality TV star and entrepreneur Anita Natacha Akide, better known as Tacha, has once again made headlines, this time for achieving a remarkable global milestone officially recognised by Guinness World Records.

The former Big Brother Naija contestant earned two Guinness World Records, a feat that has placed her among a select group of Nigerians to receive international acclaim for individual achievement.

Guinness World Records announced the recognition in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, confirming that Tacha set two new world titles during her self-hosted Tacha Beauty Festival, held from October 10 to 12, 2025, at the John Randle Centre for Yorùbá Culture & History in Lagos.

During the three-day festival, Tacha worked tirelessly with 150 models in a marathon test of creativity and endurance that culminated in her breaking two separate world records.

In an emotional post shared on Instagram, the 29-year-old expressed gratitude to her supporters, her team, and her late mother, attributing her success to faith, hard work, and divine grace.

“The world sees the headline, but God and I know the trenches, sleepless nights, generator hums, prayers at 3 a.m., swollen feet, shaky hands, and grace that does not lie,” she wrote.

Tacha described the journey as one filled with determination and passion, revealing that her love for beauty and creativity started at an early age.

“The idea of daring to be different drove me. This record was born from resilience and the courage to stand out. I wanted to show that Nigerian women can achieve anything they put their minds to, and that African creativity deserves global recognition,” she told Guinness World Records.

She also used the moment to inspire her fans, reminding them that challenges often precede success.

“If you don’t have haters, pray for haters because they’ll push you into purpose. While they hate, I chase destiny and win. My name is Anita; it means gracious. And grace is loud on my life,” she added.

Tacha’s accomplishment has since dominated social media, with fans, celebrities, and industry peers showering her with congratulations.

Her record-breaking feat not only celebrates her rise from reality TV fame to international recognition but also underscores a growing trend of young Nigerians turning creativity and persistence into global success stories, proving, as Tacha proudly declared, that grace truly does not lie.
