In a tough match for Real Madrid, Kylian Mbappé missed a penalty in the club’s 2-0 defeat to Liverpool. Despite the loss, manager Carlo Ancelotti expressed support for the French striker, emphasizing the importance of patience during difficult moments. Ancelotti stated, “Everybody we’ve got to give him our support and he’ll soon be fine.” This loss marks Madrid’s third in the last five games, and they currently sit in 24th place in the season standings.

Mbappé, who joined the club this summer in what is considered one of football’s most expensive free transfers, has had a rocky start. Luka Modric, Madrid’s captain, acknowledged the challenges new players face at the club, stating that while Mbappé is going through a tough period, his experience and talent will help him overcome it. “He is a player with a lot of experience. He is a star,” said Modric.

Although the season has been challenging for both Mbappé and Madrid, there is hope for improvement, with an upcoming La Liga match against Getafe providing an opportunity to turn things around.

Real Madrid’s struggles this season reflect the pressure that even world-class players like Mbappé face when adjusting to a new environment. Patience and support seem key for both him and the club as they work through these early setbacks.
