The Kogi State Government has reported three “assassination” attempts on Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello, with attackers in military uniforms firing at his convoy on the Lokoja-Abuja highway, near Kwali Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory. The government believes these attempts are part of a plot to portray the state as unsafe before the upcoming November 11 governorship election. Swift intervention by security personnel attached to the governor thwarted the attacks. The government has documented these incidents for investigation and urges citizens to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities to maintain peace and security in the state. #OMAGIST@AFRICAWORLDNEWS
