The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has instructed all Computer-Based Test (CBT) center owners to detain any parent discovered near their facilities during the 2024 UTME exercise.
This directive, issued by JAMB Registrar Prof. Isaq Oloyede, aims to prevent parental interference in the exam process. Parents breaching this rule risk disqualifying their children from writing the exam.
JAMB emphasizes the necessity of this measure due to past instances of parental intrusion leading to exam malpractices. Security agencies are also enlisted to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination.
