Nigerian Gospel Singer Mercy Chinwo and Husband Blessed Welcome Their Second Child

Nigerian gospel singer Mercy Chinwo and her husband, Blessed Uzochikwa, have announced the birth of their second child. The couple, who got married in August 2022, shared the joyful news through a post on social media, accompanied by themed brown-and-white photos.

In their message, they expressed their gratitude:
“The Lord has done it again! He has added to our joy… multiplied our laughter… and blessed us with the precious gift of a second baby.”

They further declared:
“We declare: His name will be lifted in our lineage forever. Generations from us will walk in His light. Through us, many will be blessed, and the nations will call us blessed. To the glory of God… Welcome, our precious gift.”

The announcement was met with an outpouring of congratulations from fans and fellow gospel musicians, who flooded social media with well-wishes and prayers for the couple.

Mercy and Blessed’s first child, Charis, was born in October 2023, and now, just under two years into their marriage, they celebrate the arrival of their second child.
