Nigerian Pastor Rejects 10% Tithe, Demands 70% Amid Economic Hardship

Evangelist Dr. Gospel Agochukwu, the General Overseer and founder of Shekinah Arena Ministries, has issued a directive to his congregation, urging them to increase their tithes from 10% to 70% in response to current economic hardships.

Agochukwu emphasized that he personally pays a 70% tithe and believes that the traditional 10% is insufficient in the present economic climate. He has called on all church members to follow his example, rejecting the 10% tithe as inadequate and suggesting that a higher tithe is necessary to properly honor God during these challenging times.
