Renowned Nigerian Evangelist Rev Uma Ukpai Dies at 80

Reverend Uma Ukpai, a globally respected evangelist and founder of the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, has passed away at the age of 80.

The sad news was confirmed on Monday, marking the end of an era for one of Nigeria’s most influential Christian leaders known for his decades of healing crusades, teachings, and evangelism across the world.

Rev. Ukpai, who began his ministry several decades ago, devoted his life to preaching the gospel and promoting unity among Christians in Nigeria and beyond.

Through his evangelistic association, he organized countless crusades that drew massive crowds and inspired many to faith.

His impact extended beyond the pulpit, as he also contributed to education, charity, and community development.

Tributes have begun pouring in from religious leaders, political figures, and followers who describe him as a humble servant of God and a pillar of hope for millions.

His passing leaves a deep void in Nigeria’s Christian community, where his teachings and legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.
