Nigerian Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage and American R&B legend Usher Raymond have triggered waves of speculation about a possible romantic connection after their vibrant appearance together in London. During a recent stop on Usher’s ‘Past Present Future’ tour at the O2 Arena, Savage surprised fans by joining him on stage, igniting the audience with their joint performance of her hit track Somebody’s Son. As reported by Sun Newspaper, the chemistry between the two artists didn’t end there. Later that evening at the afterparty, they took on the trending 30-second challenge, a moment that has since gone viral online.
In the widely shared clip, Usher prompted Tiwa Savage to freestyle, leading to a playful yet provocative declaration from the singer. “I’m a little drunk! But it’s alright. I think I’m drunk enough… Usher, are you drunk enough? Listen, he loves me,” she freestyled, drawing wild cheers from the crowd. The remark has been at the center of growing fan theories suggesting that the two may be romantically involved.
The video’s circulation has prompted widespread reactions across social media, with users dissecting every moment for clues about a potential relationship. While the interaction appears lighthearted, many have interpreted it as a sign of something deeper between the music icons.
Notably, this is not the first time the duo has shared a stage. In 2022, during the Global Citizen Festival in Accra, Ghana, Usher also invited Savage to perform with him, indicating a friendly and possibly evolving connection. Still, both stars have remained silent on the swirling romance rumours.
