British heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury has announced he no longer supports Manchester United or follows football at all.
Fury, who has previously attended matches at Old Trafford, made the comments during an appearance at Cartmel Racecourse, speaking to Racing TV.
“I’m not a supporter of football really,” Fury said. “I used to support United, but because they’re in the s*** now, I’m no supporter of any football teams anymore.”
Manchester United had a disappointing campaign last season, finishing 15th in the Premier League. The team has also had a poor start to the current season, losing 1-0 to Arsenal at home and drawing 1-1 with Fulham.
Fury added that he has also stopped supporting the England national team.
