President Bola Tinubu has approved a new minimum wage of N70,000 for Nigerian workers.

Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information, announced this at the Presidential Villa in Abuja during a meeting with leaders of organized labor.

Comrade Joe Ajaero, President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), and Comrade Festus Usifo, President of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), attended the meeting with their union members.
