In a heartfelt Instagram video, Nigerian actress Ini Dima-Okojie revealed the recurrence of her fibroid tumors, despite undergoing surgery in 2020.

Known for her role in the hit series ‘Blood Sisters,’ Dima-Okojie candidly shared her ongoing health struggle and her decision to manage the condition through holistic methods rather than facing another invasive surgery. “My Fibroid Journey continues! It’s unexpected to be sharing this update again after my last one in 2020, but here I am,” she expressed in her post, highlighting the unpredictability of her condition.

Dima-Okojie is also using her platform to raise awareness about fibroids, a condition that affects many women worldwide. She announced her commitment to sponsor scans for 20 women suffering from fibroids, urging those in need to reach out.

“I am sponsoring scans for 20 women. If you know someone coping with fibroids who could benefit, please share this with them,” she stated, emphasizing her dedication to supporting others in similar battles.

The actress further discussed the emotional and physical toll fibroids have taken on her life. She recounted the challenges of dealing with the symptoms, which often include severe pain, heavy bleeding, and fatigue. Despite these difficulties, Dima-Okojie remains optimistic and determined to explore alternative therapies that can offer relief without the need for additional surgeries.

Her journey has sparked a conversation about the broader implications of fibroids on women’s health, encouraging others to seek help and share their stories. By sponsoring scans and openly discussing her own experiences, Dima-Okojie aims to break the stigma surrounding the condition and provide a sense of community and support for those affected.

Ini Dima-Okojie’s revelation not only underscores the persistence of her health struggle but also highlights her proactive efforts to assist others in their battles with fibroids. Her advocacy work is a testament to her resilience and dedication to improving women’s health awareness.
