Proudly Divorced: Bolanle Ninalowo Opens Up on Split from Bunmi
Nollywood actor Bolanle Ninalowo has declared that he is proud of his divorce from his wife, Bunmi, ending lingering debates about the state of their marriage.
The actor, popularly known as “Nino B,” first confirmed the separation in September 2023, years after their relationship faced turbulence. The couple initially parted ways in 2019 following allegations of infidelity but reconciled in 2021. Their reunion, however, did not last.
Fresh controversy arose when a social media influencer, Yeye_kudi_courtroom, shared an Instagram post claiming to be an apology from Ninalowo. The post alleged that the actor admitted to infidelity and neglect in the marriage.
Ninalowo dismissed the claims outright, describing them as “nonsense” and calling out the blogger for spreading falsehoods. In his response, he emphasized that he stands firmly by his decision to end the marriage.
“I have been separated and divorced since September 2023, and I am proudly bold of it,” he wrote.
Ninalowo and Bunmi married in 2007, and their union produced two children, Aaliyah and Morakinyo. Despite the public scrutiny around their relationship, the actor has consistently said that he remains dedicated to co-parenting and giving his children stability.
Known for his roles in Nollywood romance and action films, Ninalowo has built a reputation as one of the industry’s leading actors. His personal life, however, has often attracted as much attention as his career.
With his latest comments, the actor has made it clear that he views the divorce not as a failure but as a choice he owns with confidence.
