NIGERIA: Nigerians Respond to Movie Actor, Jimmy Odukoya Taking Over as Senior Pastor Of Fountain of Life Church After His Father’s Demise

The Fountain of Life Church, through the Board of Trustees, (BOT) has declared Jimmy Odukoya, the Nollywood star as the senior pastor of the church following the demise of his father, late pastor Taiwo Odukoya. The late pastor, whose first wife, Bimbo Odukoya, a relationship expert, died during the 2005 plane crash, lost his second wife, Nomthi Odukoya to cancer two years ago, also transcended to glory on 7th August, 2023. The appointment of Jimmy as the new pastor was in accordance with the late father’s inheritance plan as unveiled by Pastor Rotimi Okpaise. Nigerians have a different view, as some have termed his succession as “family business”. In view of the foregoing, the board harmoniously agreed to the selection of pastor Jimmy as the successor. His installation comes up on September 30, 2023. Pastor Jimmy Odukoya is not just a pastor but is also well known for his acting prowess in Nollywood.
