Nollywood Star Anita Joseph’s Marriage Hits the Rocks as New Details Emerge
New information has surfaced about the reported collapse of the five-year marriage between Nollywood actress Anita Joseph and her husband, Michael Fisayo Olagunju, popularly known as MC Fish.
Earlier in the week, actor Stanley Ontop hinted publicly that the couple’s union had ended, a revelation that immediately triggered widespread speculation online.
Celebrity blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus has now shared what insiders say may have been the silent breaking point.
In an Instagram update, she disclosed that both Anita and MC Fish have deliberately chosen not to address the rumours, even as the story gains momentum.
Sources quoted by the blogger claimed that the marriage began to face serious strain a few years ago after MC Fish reportedly joined the Freemason fraternity.
According to the insider account, that decision marked the beginning of persistent disagreements that the couple struggled to manage until things eventually fell apart.
Part of the blogger’s post read:
“Insiders say that a few years ago, Michael joined the Freemason fraternity and from then on, things took a downturn, with both managing until they could no longer hold it together.”
While online rumours allege that MC Fish may have moved in with another woman, or that Anita threw his belongings out, Stella clarified she could not confirm any of those claims. What she did confirm, however, was that the marriage “has packed up.”
Anita Joseph and MC Fish married on February 14, 2020, in a ceremony widely celebrated by fans and fellow entertainers. For years, the pair maintained a very public, affectionate partnership that many admired.
As the story continues to circulate, social media has been flooded with reactions. Many fans expressed sympathy for Anita, praising her for giving her best to the marriage.
Others argued that the couple owed no public explanation and had a right to handle the situation privately.
“All I know is that Anita gave her best in that marriage. She was that perfect wife, but some men lack real love. God will surprise her soon.”
Another added:
“You are a good woman and a good wife. True love will find you again.”
Some, however, maintained that because the couple often showcased their relationship publicly, fans naturally feel invested in the outcome.
This development comes shortly after Anita stirred mixed reactions online when a video of her preaching in church surfaced.
The actress was seen dressed modestly, addressing the congregation from the pulpit, a moment that generated a wave of commentary across social platforms.
For now, both Anita Joseph and MC Fish remain silent, leaving the public to rely on insider accounts as the situation continues to unfold.
