Nigerian internationals delivered standout performances across major European leagues over the weekend, with Frank Onyeka emerging as one of the biggest highlights after helping Coventry City seal promotion to the Premier League.
The midfielder featured in Coventry’s goalless draw against Sheffield Wednesday, a result that secured automatic promotion for the club.
Currently on loan from Brentford FC, Onyeka is now guaranteed top-flight football next season, whether he remains with Coventry or returns to his parent side.
In Spain, Akor Adams played a decisive role for Sevilla FC, converting an early penalty to guide his team to a 2-1 win over Atlético Madrid.
The victory provided a crucial boost in their battle to avoid relegation.
Over in France, Moses Simon made his mark for Paris FC, assisting the opening goal in a commanding 4-1 win against AS Monaco.
