Liverpool star Luis Díaz’s parents were kidnapped in Barrancas, La Guajira, Colombia. His mother has been rescued, but the search for his father continues. Colombian President Gustavo Petro confirmed the rescue of the mother and ongoing efforts to find the father. Colombia’s Attorney General’s Office is actively involved in the case. Luis Diaz’s parents were abducted at a service station by armed men on motorbikes. Local police are deploying resources to locate and secure their release. Liverpool expressed concern and support for Diaz, with the player’s welfare as a top priority. Luis Díaz, a 26-year-old winger, has not commented on the matter. He joined Liverpool from Porto and has represented Colombia in international matches.
