Bishop David Oyedepo has refuted claims that the church’s aircrafts were purchased with church offerings, explaining that it was a divine intervention.
Speaking during a church service, he emphasized that the aircrafts were a miraculous gift from God, not a result of any planned fundraising or contributions.
He said, “The offering didn’t buy any of our aircrafts, God bought it. There was no pressure, no one was contacted for it, God simply spoke and it happened.”
Oyedepo further clarified that there was no ambition or plan for such a purchase, and that it was part of a divine purpose. “It wasn’t an ambition, it was a revealed divine agenda,” he noted.
He also shared that if he had been asked when the aircraft would be bought, he would have hesitated, saying, “We weren’t ready for it.”
The church’s aircrafts, according to Oyedepo, are used for long-distance travel across Africa, highlighting the unexpected nature of the divine blessing.
