A new controversy has surfaced following the death of Pope Francis, as Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of Christ Embassy made a bold and unsettling claim about the cause.
Speaking to his congregation, Oyakhilome stated that the Covid-19 vaccine was to blame for the Pope’s passing.
According to him, Pope Francis was not only an advocate for the vaccine but also received it himself to encourage global trust in its safety.
The pastor, who has long opposed the vaccine, said he had warned against it from the beginning.
He believes the Pope’s declining health in recent years was not a coincidence, claiming it all began after the injection.
“He kept going in and out of hospitals,” Oyakhilome said. “The vaccine killed him.”
The statement has sparked reactions across social media, with some defending Oyakhilome’s right to question the narrative, while others accuse him of spreading harmful misinformation.
As the world mourns the loss of the Pope, this accusation adds another layer of tension to the already divisive debate surrounding vaccines and public health.
