I’m singing again — Celine Dion confirms return to stage after health battle [VIDEO]
Global music icon Celine Dion has announced her long-awaited return to live performances, marking a major moment after years away from the stage due to health challenges.
The Canadian singer shared the update in a heartfelt video posted on her Instagram page to mark her 58th birthday, revealing plans for a concert series scheduled to take place in Paris, France, from September 12 to October 14, 2026.
In the video, Dion expressed deep gratitude to her fans for their unwavering support throughout her difficult journey. She acknowledged the role their encouragement and prayers played during her time away from performing.
“You have helped me in ways that I cannot describe. I’m truly so fortunate to have your support,” she said, before adding, “I have missed you so much. I’m singing again, and even doing a little bit of dancing.”
Her announcement comes nearly three years after she was forced to cancel her world tour following her diagnosis with Stiff Person Syndrome in 2022—a rare neurological condition that causes muscle stiffness and spasms.
Since then, Dion has kept a relatively low public profile, making a notable appearance at the 66th Grammy Awards in 2024, which marked her first major outing since stepping back from the spotlight.
Her planned return to the stage signals a significant step forward in her recovery, with fans around the world already expressing excitement ahead of the upcoming shows.
