Nigeria 2027: Cubana Chief Priest Joins APC Race for House of Representatives
Celebrity businessman and socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chief Priest, has officially announced his intention to contest for a seat in Nigeria’s House of Representatives under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The nightlife entrepreneur made his political ambition public during a recent visit to the APC secretariat in Imo State, where he met with party leaders and formally expressed his desire to represent the Orsu, Orlu, and Oru East Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections.
Sharing details of the visit on social media, Cubana Chief Priest said he had informed key party stakeholders of his aspiration and received encouraging feedback from them.
“I visited our party leaders to congratulate them and also to humbly declare my intention to serve my people in the House of Representatives. God is in control, and His will shall prevail,” he stated.
Party leaders at the meeting praised his versatility, describing him as a successful businessman, influencer, and emerging political figure capable of making meaningful contributions to public service.
His declaration comes amid his growing involvement in Nigerian politics. In recent months, Cubana Chief Priest has become increasingly vocal in his support for the APC and President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
He currently serves as the Imo State Director of the City Boy Movement, a political support group mobilising young Nigerians for Tinubu’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
