The Malawi government reports that Israel has deported 12 Malawian workers who violated their employment contracts by working at a bakery instead of on designated farms.

The Malawi Embassy in Tel Aviv confirmed that the workers possessed valid visas and contracts for agricultural work but breached their agreements by engaging in unauthorized employment.

This deportation follows the arrest of over 40 foreign workers, including the 12 Malawians, at a bakery in Tel Aviv last week.

Malawian officials have issued a stern warning to citizens seeking employment in Israel, emphasizing that breach of contract will not be tolerated.
