In a significant development for youth-focused advocacy in Imo State, Amb. Dr. Ofonimeh Jamezany James has declared his support for the Renewed Hope Alive Movement, Imo State Chapter, under the leadership of Comr. Irodili C. Iroegbu.
Amb. Dr. James, a Nigerian-born Pan-African cultural ambassador and prominent Nollywood film publicist, is known for his expansive work across cultural diplomacy, creative industries, and international engagement. His portfolio includes roles as ECOWAS Youth Ambassador, United Nations Peace Ambassador, Ex-Roving Ambassador for the State of the African Diaspora (SOAD), FESTAC Africa Ambassador, and Global Ambassador of ElRoi London University.
He currently serves as Adviser to the Prime Minister of the State of the African Diaspora, Dr. Louis Georges-Tin, where he contributes to the development of policies and initiatives within the African and African Diaspora Creative Arts and Cultural Ecosystem. He is also the Head of the Azania Filmmakers Association (AFA), playing a pivotal role in shaping narratives within the African film and cultural space.
As a coordinator of major international platforms such as the FESTAC Africa Festival, Global Day of the Drum (GDOD), and the Lagos International Film Festival, Amb. Dr. James has continued to position himself as a key figure in promoting African heritage and global cultural exchange.
His endorsement of the Renewed Hope Alive Movement is expected to further amplify the movement’s mission, particularly in the areas of youth mobilization, cultural awareness, and national development.
