Jinja, 4th June 2025 — The Human Resources team, together with the top management of National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC), convened a formal handover meeting in Jinja to mark the transition of leadership in the Area.
The meeting was held to officially bid farewell to the outgoing General Manager, Dr. Charles Okuonzi, who has been appointed as Senior Director, Financial Services at NWSC Headquarters, and to warmly welcome the new General Manager, Eng. Badru Wandrwasi.
The event commenced with self-introductions from all attendees, setting a cordial tone for the proceedings. The HR representative then provided an overview of the purpose of the meeting, emphasizing its importance in ensuring a smooth leadership transition and continuity of service delivery.
In his farewell remarks, Dr. Okuonzi reflected on his impactful journey with the Corporation, expressing gratitude for the unwavering support he received from the Jinja team throughout his tenure.
