Dr. Ganiya Olawale-Popoola, an ophthalmologist in Kaduna, her Air Force officer husband, Nurudeen Popoola, and their teenage guest, AbdulMugniy Folaranmi, face a life-threatening situation as kidnappers demand a N100 million ransom.
The abductors, unyielding to negotiations, have set a deadline, threatening dire consequences if not paid by January 26. Despite the family’s plea and attempts to lower the amount, they remain unable to meet the exorbitant demand.
Authorities are involved, with the Kaduna State Police actively working to ensure the safe release of the victims. The family appeals for government intervention.
