The Labour Party (LP) candidate representing Enugu East/Isi-Uzo Federal Constituency, Enugu,has been dismissed by the National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal in Enugu. Prince Cornelius Nnaji of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) challenged the victory of Prof. Sunday Nnamchi of LP, as inappropriately sponsored and ineligible to run for the position under LP. The three judges led by A.M Abubakar agreed with the PDP candidate and made the unanimous ruling on Friday, announcing Prince Nnaji as the rightful winner of House of Representatives election on 25th February, 2023. #OMAGIST@AFRICAWORLDNEWS
