Seventeen-year-old Nafisat Aminu from Yobe State, Northern Nigeria, has emerged as the best performer in English Language at the TeenEagle Global Finals held in London, United Kingdom.
Nafisat outshone competitors from 69 countries and over 20,000 participants worldwide to claim first place in the prestigious competition.
Her achievement sparked excitement across Nigerian social media, with many celebrating the country’s continued excellence in global competitions.
On X, Abbey Abby praised the feat, writing, “Nigeria wins again.”
Another user highlighted Nigeria’s intellectual prowess, commenting, “We have the best brains here; we dominate anytime we compete.”
This accomplishment comes shortly after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu awarded $100,000 each to the D’Tigeress basketball team and the Super Falcons football team for their victories in African women’s championships this year.
