Nigeria’s crypto entrepreneur Blord remanded in Kuje over VeryDarkMan impersonation [VIDEO]
Nigeria’s cryptocurrency entrepreneur Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly known as Blord, has been remanded at the Kuje Correctional Centre following his arraignment over allegations of impersonating social media personality VeryDarkMan.
Blord appeared before the Federal High Court in Abuja on April 1, 2026, facing multiple charges including impersonation and forgery.
The court ordered that he remain in custody pending further proceedings.
VeryDarkMan took to Instagram to outline the alleged offences, claiming that Blord falsified flight details to suggest he was attending a product launch in Onitsha.
He also alleged that Blord circulated promotional materials, including billboards and fliers, falsely presenting him as a brand ambassador for a digital platform.
According to VeryDarkMan, Blord additionally claimed to have paid him 500 million naira for endorsement rights—an assertion he denied.
He emphasized that all claims linking him to Blord’s activities were false and unauthorized.
The case has drawn significant attention across Nigeria’s digital and entertainment communities, highlighting concerns over impersonation and fraud in the growing cryptocurrency space.
