Victor Osimhen has reached an agreement to join a new club this summer, closing the door on potential moves to Chelsea and Manchester United.
The Napoli forward, who spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Galatasaray, reignited his form in Turkey, delivering 36 goals in 40 appearances and guiding the club to a domestic league and cup double.
Chelsea had come close to signing the Nigerian international last year, but the deal collapsed in the final stages of the transfer window. Manchester United also showed interest in recent months, hoping to add firepower to their squad.
However, Osimhen has opted for a different direction. As reported by Saudi outlet Al-Riyadh, he has agreed to a three-year deal with a new club, which is expected to compete in the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup.
The club, yet to be officially named, is prepared to activate the €75 million release clause in Osimhen’s Napoli contract. Discussions between the player and representatives of the club are said to have progressed smoothly in recent days.
