Spain Thrash Austria 3-0 to Reach World Cup Round of 16
Spain produced a dominant performance to beat Austria 3-0 at SoFi Stadium and secure a place in the FIFA World Cup Round of 16.

The European champions controlled the match from start to finish, extending their impressive run to four consecutive clean sheets in the tournament.

Mikel Oyarzabal was the star of the match, scoring twice for Spain. The Real Sociedad forward opened the scoring in the first half after being set up by Marc Cucurella before adding his second goal in the 89th minute to seal the victory.

Pedro Porro also got on the scoresheet in the 66th minute, heading home from an Alex Baena cross to double Spain’s lead.

The win extends Spain’s unbeaten run to 34 matches and strengthens their hopes of winning the World Cup.

Austria exits the tournament after being outplayed, while Spain advances to the Round of 16, where they will face either Portugal or Croatia in Dallas.
