Inter Miami forward Lionel Messi has called on his teammates to stay united following a 3-0 home defeat to Orlando City in Major League Soccer on Sunday night.
The result leaves Inter Miami with just one win in their last seven matches across all competitions.
In a post-match interview with Apple TV, Messi acknowledged the team’s struggles and emphasized the importance of unity:
“It’s a tough moment, but we’ll get through it. This is when we find out if we’re truly a team. When everything goes well, it’s easy. It’s in difficult times like this that we need to come together, support each other, and push through.”
Inter Miami’s next match is scheduled against league leaders Philadelphia on Sunday. The team is currently sixth in the standings with 22 points.Attach
