When something is hitting a crescendo or extremely negative in Nigeria, they could say in pidgin English, ‘e don de red’. The red meaning ‘danger’ which is normally accepted due to the colour of blood which is life. Nigeria is at a precipice, and the return of Gen. Muhammadu Buhari to power in 2015, has further pushed the country to the irredeemable steps of collapse. It is not a hidden fact that Fulani, a migrant and nomadic tribe, who conquered Hausas in the 19th century, have been bragging, intimidating aborigines, maiming, kidnapping and killing, It is also well known to who cares that the body language of the Buhari administration supports the minority Fulani migrants to forcefully dwell and possess indigenous lands across the 36 States of Nigeria. The government keeps trying new policies like the Open Grazing route, RUGA, but Nigerians are rebuffing it.

A new bombshell was dropped for the world on Wednesday, 25th August on the Channels TV popular Sunrise Daily, where Former Navy Commodore, Kunle Olawunmi (Rtd) ‘spilled the beans’ on the Nigerian government involvement behind the decade-long Boko Haram insurgency in the country.

He claimed that the government has developed cold feet in fighting the insurgency because some of those backing Boko Haram are now top-ranking government officials.

“I can’t come on air and start mentioning names of people that are presently in government that the boys we arrested mentioned,” he said, referencing his time as a member of the military intelligence team in 2017. Excerpts of the interview which has gone viral around the country is opening many eyes, especially those who still sit on the face, on the dangerous developments in the country.

“President Buhari wants to Fulanize the country”, Benue State Governor Ortom remarked an his interview, demanding why President Buhari is encouraging Fulani killers. Earlier on, the Channels TV duo who anchor the Sunrise Daily were said to be whisked off by the DSS, Nigeria secret police for questioning. Although it was debunked, but the notoriety the administration is getting for nepotism is increasing.

Since the turnout of events in Afghanistan, the attacks from Fulani terrorists comprising of ISWAP, Boko Haram, Herdsmen and other groups have gone up. Recalling the statements of former president, Goodluck Jonatan, who informed that some of his Cabinet Ministers were sympathetic to Boko Haram, one now see clearly what is happening. It is not a hidden fact that Fulani sees Nigeria as a land they will ultimately make their inheritance, hence the opening of northern borders by the Buhari administration for the immigration into the country. A Fulani wrote online, “If Taliban can do it, we can”. It was this long-term agenda that fueled the creation of the Indegenous People of Biafra {IPOB} by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who was abducted in Kenya by the agents of the administration. Truly, ‘e don red for Naija’.
