Global Institute U.S and Dr. Jamezany James Empower African Film and Youth Entrepreneurship in Ghana

In November,Global Institute U.S led by her chairlady Nigerian-American Prof.Margaret King of University of Chicago with her Vice-chairlady African-American Dr.Frazier Gale an alumni of the prestigious Harvard University held the global institute events on entrepreneurialship at the prestigious Château Towers Apartments in Osu area of Accra, Ghana.

Star cultural ambassador and devoted Pan-Africanist Dr Jamezany James was specially invited by Prof.Margaret King to represent the African creative arts and culture ecosystem particularly the film industry,and he represented the creative ecosystem well by speaking about the huge creative talents that about on the continent seeking platforms to showcase as he also spoke about the challenges of the African film industry most especially funding challenge which the African filmmakers have that has hindered the telling of our true African stories from the African perspective hence controlling the narrative which is a strong soft power tools,also exhibition marketing and distribution challenge of the industry as the industry needs much more film exhibition marketing and distribution platforms like cinemas,streaming platforms mostly African owned that can compete with the likes of Netflix.

Prof Margaret continued the conversation with Ambassador Jamezany to further contribute as both parties would love to keep the plans on the low for now,though something big is cooking for the benefit of African film industry, young African filmmakers and the general creative arts and culture ecosystem.

Global Institute headed by Prof Margaret king with Azania Filmmakers(pan-africa) headed by Dr Jamezany James the Ambassador have assured that they will keep adding value and contributing to the growth and development of Africa.mostly as Prof Margaret believes in helping and supporting youths with entrepreneurial skills through Global Institute, while specifically working with Dr Jamezany James who is not only a pan-african cultural icon,but also an appointed West African Youth Ambassador by the West African(ECOWAS) Youth Council,the region that houses Ghana were this event was held,and also houses Nigeria her country of origin also the country of origin of the Ambassador.

Meanwhile, in 2023,Prof Margaret King with her team from Global Institutenstitute U.S had a tour of some ECOWAS countries.

Global Institute therefore calls on other Africans in diaspora to support their continent by encouraging youth entrepreneurship and youth led projects and initiatives to create employments.
