Archbishop Emmanuel Mutumwa, leader of the Johanne Masowe eChishanu Apostolic Sect, announced that God provided him with a winning formula that resulted in a record $30,000 win at a local casino.

Following his success, casinos in Bulawayo have banned him, citing concerns over consistent large payouts. Mutumwa defended his actions by stating the winnings were used to help his congregation and argued that gambling can be positive when done responsibly. A local casino manager confirmed the policy of restricting frequent winners to maintain financial stability.
