Miss Kenechukwu Uba, a student of Caleb International College, Magodo, Lagos, has been honoured with the coveted ‘Outstanding Cambridge Learners’ award.

She received the award for being the ‘Top in World’ candidate for the November 2024 Cambridge (IGCSE) English, as a Second Language (Speaking Endorsement)

IGCSE refers to the International General Certificate of Secondary Education.

According to Otobo, the pronouncement by Rod Smith, Group Managing Director, International Education at Cambridge University Press and Assessment, recognises Uba’s exceptional proficiency in spoken English on the global stage.

“Uba’s achievement underscores Caleb International College’s unwavering commitment to nurturing godliness, character development, and discipline alongside academic excellence.

According to him, Adebogun described her success as an embodiment of the core values of integrity, perseverance and innovation of the college.

Otobo noted that Uba who received her award at a well-attended event in Lagos, attracted commendations, for achieving the highest speaking endorsement score, worldwide.

He stated that the ceremony was hosted by the British Council and Cambridge University Press and Assessment.
