Afrobeats icon Davido (David Adeleke) and his wife Chioma Rowland recently hosted an elegant pre-wedding celebration in Miami, USA, as they prepare for a grand wedding ceremony back in Nigeria. The couple, who have weathered many personal challenges, looked every bit the glamorous pair as they danced the night away in the vibrant city.
In April, Davido confirmed plans to marry in August, though the exact date remained under wraps, leaving fans eagerly awaiting the event.
The pair’s relationship has had its share of ups and downs. Davido proposed to Chioma in 2019, but their bond was tested in 2021 by rumors of infidelity. Their lives were further upended in October 2022, when tragedy struck with the heartbreaking loss of their son Ifeanyi, who drowned in their Lagos home.
Yet, despite the difficulties, Davido and Chioma have shown resilience. In March 2023, Davido revealed that the couple had officially married. They later welcomed twins in the United States in October 2023 and tied the knot in a traditional ceremony in Lagos in June 2024.
Now, with their wedding celebrations set to continue in Nigeria, fans are eagerly awaiting the couple’s next chapter.
