FOREIGN: Iran Completes Retaliatory Strikes, Issues Warning to Israel and U.S

Iran has declared the completion of its retaliatory operation following overnight drone and missile strikes, threatening Israel with a larger response if provoked further. Iranian officials warned Israel against reckless behavior and cautioned Washington not to support any Israeli military actions, stating that US bases would be targeted in case of backing for a counterattack.

Hamas supported Iran’s actions, citing retaliation for the targeting of Iranian interests in Damascus. Israel reported minor damage and reopened its airspace after the attack, while the United States announced discussions on a diplomatic response with major powers.

Iran’s IRGC leader warned of a “new equation” in response to any future attacks on its interests, assets, or people, emphasizing a direct response policy.
