Nigerian scientist wins top award in nanotechnology.

A Nigerian scientist and associate professor, Evidence Akhayere has been honoured with the prestigious Top Researcher Award in Nano Technology.

The award recognises Akhayere’s significant milestone in the scientific community of Cyprus, as contained in a statement made available on Online on Friday.

The award ceremony, which was held at the Cyprus International University, witnessed prominent figures from the academic and scientific community.

Owing to his ground-breaking work in nanotechnology, Akhayere is regarded as a distinguished researcher known for his great innovation with a touch of excellence.
The scientist’s contributions have advanced the field and paved the way for numerous practical applications in Medicine, Chemistry, Energy, Agriculture and Materials Science.
The panel comprising esteemed scientists and experts, lauded Akhayere’s innovative approach and dedication to pushing the boundaries of nanotechnology.

While receiving the award, Akhayere appreciated his family, colleagues and students for their unwavering support, while also highlighting the importance of collaborative research and the potential of nanotechnology to revolutionise various industries.
