Nigerian Star Iwobi Makes Premier League Award List
Alex Iwobi has been named on the shortlist for the Premier League Player of the Month for March after an impressive run of performances for Fulham FC.
The Super Eagles midfielder has been a key figure in Fulham’s strong form, playing a central role as the team pushes for a place in European competitions. He started the month in fine style with a brilliant long-range goal that secured victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
Iwobi has thrived in a deeper creative role, earning praise for his vision, composure and ability to control games from midfield. His influence was again on display in Fulham’s win against Burnley FC, where he dictated the pace and linked play effectively.
His consistent performances helped Fulham secure valuable points throughout the month, strengthening their bid for a top finish.
He will compete for the award alongside other standout performers, including Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United, Morgan Gibbs-White of Nottingham Forest, and Anthony Gordon of Newcastle United.
David Raya of Arsenal FC is also among the nominees following a strong run in goal.
