MANCHESTER United are reportedly prepared to back Erik ten Hag in the transfer market during the January window.
Since moving to Old Trafford earlier this year, Ten Hag has already been able to make six signings for his first-team squad.
The standout of those additions was Ajax winger Antony, who cost £84m, while Lisandro Martinez and Casemiro also cost in excess of a combined fee of £100m.
Those transfers have led to United enjoyed a strong start to the new Premier League campaign, recording four successive wins after initially losing to Brighton & Hove Albion and Brentford.
However, according to The Sun, more money is expected to be given to the former Ajax boss given the level of United’s improvement in recent weeks.
As it stands, there is no particular area where Ten Hag will feel that he is short, but speculation persists regarding the future of Cristiano Ronaldo.
With the Portuguese superstar currently spending Premier League fixtures out of the starting line-up, there could be more developments over the coming months.
