Tiwa Savage Clears the Air on Wizkid Dating Rumours

Nigerian Afrobeats queen, Tiwa Savage, has finally responded to speculations linking her romantically with music star, Wizkid, following her recent revelation about a past relationship with a public figure.

The award-winning singer had earlier disclosed that she once dated a well-known personality who preferred to keep their affair private.

According to her, the secrecy was less about protection and more about the individual’s freedom to flirt with other women without scrutiny.

That statement reignited long-standing rumours of a love affair between her and Wizkid, with many assuming the “Essence” hitmaker was the unnamed celebrity.

But in a recent sit-down with The Breakfast Club, Tiwa Savage put the rumours to rest. She stressed that, while she holds Wizkid in high regard, he was not the person she had been talking about.

“Shoutout to Wizkid. I love and respect him but he isn’t the one I was referring to. I said the person was a public figure but it’s not him,” she clarified.

The mother of one, however, chose not to reveal the actual identity of the celebrity, keeping fans and followers guessing about who the mystery man could be.
