On March 29, 2025, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Deputy Senate President Jibrin Barau, and other dignitaries gathered at the Presidential Villa in Abuja to celebrate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 73rd birthday.
However, the absence of Nyesom Wike, the FCT Minister, raised questions.
According to Africaworldnews Report, “Wike was notably absent from the event, which has raised eyebrows, especially given his usual close involvement in such occasions.”
The report further revealed, “There have been unconfirmed reports circulating that Wike collapsed in Abuja on Friday and was rushed to the hospital, sparking concerns about his health.”
A source close to the situation shared, “Wike’s absence is quite noticeable, particularly since he’s always been an active participant in Tinubu’s major events. His sudden disappearance has caused many to speculate.”
As of now, Wike has not publicly wished President Tinubu a happy birthday, a gesture he typically offers each year.
