Zenith Bank Named Best Commercial Bank in Nigeria, Retains Corporate Governance Award

Zenith Bank Plc has been honored as the Best Commercial Bank in Nigeria by the World Finance Banking Awards 2024, marking its fourth consecutive win in this category.

Additionally, the bank retained its title for Best Corporate Governance in Nigeria for the third year in a row. These accolades, published in the Summer 2024 issue of World Finance Magazine, recognize Zenith Bank’s strong financial performance, exceptional customer service, sustainability efforts, and exemplary corporate governance.

Group Managing Director/CEO, Dame (Dr.) Adaora Umeoji, credited the awards to the bank’s staff, customers, and shareholders, dedicating the honors to Founder and Chairman Dr. Jim Ovia for his impactful leadership. The bank’s consistent recognition underscores its commitment to excellence and industry leadership.
