Putin Signals Openness to Ukraine Negotiations Ahead of China Visit

Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed readiness to negotiate over the Ukraine conflict in an interview with Chinese media, just before his visit to Beijing.

Putin emphasized that any negotiations must consider the interests of all parties involved, including Russia.

This statement comes as Russian forces intensify their offensive in northeastern Ukraine, displacing nearly 8,000 people. Putin’s visit to China, a key ally supporting Russia’s actions in Ukraine, begins Thursday and spans two days.
