Catholic Priest Abducted by Bandits in Kaduna State

Bandits have kidnapped Rev. Father Gabriel Ukeh, the presiding priest of St. Thomas Parish in Zaman Dabo, located in the Zango Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The abduction occurred early Sunday at the parish rectory. The Vicar General (Pastoral), Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Kazah, condemned the kidnapping and urged the government to enhance security measures, especially as the Sallah celebration approaches. He also called for prayers for the priest’s safe return and cautioned against taking the law into one’s own hands. The Kaduna State Public Relations Officer, ASP Mansir Hassan, is yet to confirm the incident.
