A call for a Biafra Referendum echoes following the destruction of Igbo properties in Lagos and Nigeria.
Aloy Ejimakor, representing Nnamdi Kanu’s Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), urged those advocating for Igbo departure from Lagos or Nigeria to organize a referendum instead of demolishing their properties. This plea comes amidst allegations of targeted demolition of Igbo-populated markets and buildings in Lagos by the state government, with former Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike among those affected, despite having obtained proper approvals.
